Cook-Out Exercises Option to Purchase Their First Restaurant Built in Virginia

Morgan Property Group, LLC is pleased to announce the sale of a freestanding Cook-Out restaurant at the northwest corner of Boulevard (U.S. 1) and Dupuy Avenue in Colonial Heights, Virginia.  This was the first Cook-Out developed in the state of Virginia.

MPG, through its affiliate Boulevard I Realty, LLC, developed the site in 2011, and leased it to Cook Out-Colonial Heights, Inc.  This location features a 1,144 sq.ft. restaurant with double drive-thru lanes and a walk-up window.  The restaurant has cross access with a Walgreens drugstore to the north, which the company also developed, and Wawa gas station to the south.  On February 4, 2015, the tenant exercised their option to purchase the property.

“We were excited to be a part of Cook-Out’s introduction into the Virginia marketplace, and we wish them continued success at this location,” said Trey Morgan, President of MPG.

For over thirty-seven years, Morgan Property Group has been in the commercial real estate development and brokerage business. MPG focuses on neighborhood shopping centers, multi-tenant buildings, and single-tenant projects anchored by a variety of national and regional retailers.
