In Spring 2006, MPG, through its affiliates Marion I Realty, LLC and Marion II Realty, LLC, acquired the office building in conjunction with the adjacent 1.56 acres for a price of $925,000. The adjacent parcel was redeveloped by MPG as a freestanding Walgreens drugstore. The office building was last occupied by the USDA as a service center back in 2007.
On September 10, 2014, the property was sold to Robert B. Moro for $130,000. Vickie Stamper of Appalachian Realty Co., Inc. represented the Buyer and Scott Friedman and Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Partners, LLC, the VA brokerage arm of Morgan Property Group, represented the Seller in the transaction.
