MPG Brokers Two Former Walgreens-Owned Sites in Georgia to Cornerpoint Partners

Morgan Property Group, LLC is pleased to announce the sale of commercial land in Dallas, Georgia and a retail building in Sandy Springs, Georgia, both formerly owned by Walgreen Co., to Cornerpoint Partners, LLC (“Cornerpoint”).

On December 8, 2015, Cornerpoint purchased 1.37 acres of vacant land at the northwest corner of Dallas Acworth Highway and Cedarcrest Road in Dallas, GA. Retail Net Real Estate represented the Seller, Walgreen Co., and General Realty Partners, LLC, a brokerage arm of MPG, represented the Buyer. This land has 250’ frontage along Dallas Acworth Highway and is across from a Kroger anchored retail center. In addition, Paulding County is in the design phase of widening Cedarcrest Road to four lanes.

Also on December 8th, Cornerpoint purchased a 13,650 sq.ft. former Walgreens drugstore located at the southeast corner of Roswell Road and Vernon Woods Drive NE in Sandy Springs, GA. Retail Net Real Estate represented the Seller, Walgreen Co., and General Realty Partners, LLC represented the Buyer. The building was built in 2009 and allows for drive-thru service.
