Publix Opens in Church Street Commons; Morgan Announces More Tenants

New Shopping Center in Burlington, North Carolina opens with Publix leading the way

BURLINGTON, North Carolina (December 2021) – The Morgan Companies (“Morgan”) is pleased to announce the opening of a new Publix supermarket in its recently constructed shopping center, Church Street Commons, located at the intersection of Huffman Mill Road and Church Street in Burlington, North Carolina. My Eyelab, one of the largest optical retailers in the country, also opened in the center in December.

Morgan is also pleased to announce the following retailers will soon open at Church Street Commons:

  • The Habit Burger Grill. The Habit Burger Grill has over 300 restaurants in 14 states as well as 12 international locations. The chain offers customers a diverse menu featuring a distinctive chargrilled preparation technique to deliver an appealing variety of burgers, chicken, tuna, and steak featured in its sandwiches and salads, which are made-to-order using fresh ingredients.
  • Aspen Dental. Aspen Dental was founded in 1988 and today has over 1,000 locations nationwide. They are a leading provider of dental and related medical services with over 3,800 healthcare professionals across 45 states.
  • Popeye’s. This iconic American fast-food chain was founded in New Orleans. Today, the company is part of Restaurant Brands International and has over 3,450 locations nationwide.
  • uBreakiFix. uBreakiFix, with over 759 locations across the US, is the nationwide leader in professional same-day electronics repairs – including iPhone, Samsung, Computer, Macs, iPads and other tablet and cell phones.
  • Church Street Nails. A high-end nail salon and spa run by James Ngo, an experienced operator with multiple locations in North Carolina.

Other tenant announcements are expected soon.

Morgan purchased the 9.6-acre property where Church Street Commons now stands in February 2019. The property was formerly the site of a Sears department store.
